"About a boy" is a book about two boys, Marcus and Will. You will follow them when they meet and start to growing in a very good relationship. They meet when Will join a club for single mums and dads.
Will is a single man and live alone in his flat. He have a very nice life and dosen't have any job. He don't need to because his dad recording a very popular song who he still get royalty for. Will have look at some advertisement in the new´s paper but nothing interests him, he prefer to have a easy life (he hate to take responsibility) with long breakfasts and after that take a nice bath, and on the evening go to the pub and join the quiz.
Marcus is a shy boy who live with his mum. He go on a secondary school but there he dosen't feel very good, he feels uncomfirtable and the kids don't like him because he "dosen't have the right haircut". They just think he is wired. Marcus think the hole school is a disaster.
